While not being exactly what we want this is pretty close and very cheap albeit with high miles
It’s not too far south to go and get it and it would give us a well below budget first MH to see how we get on
Is the mileage on this a huge issue? I’d say not, especially with fsh and timing belt done
Any reason I shouldn’t pop south for this?

Mileage is high for a MH but low for a van of that age, shows it's been used not sat around.

Check MOT history on DVLA site + HPI

Cab seats are probably worn (seat covers) but you'd expect that on a well used vehicle

Worth a look(y)

Just spoke to guy on phone, he says it’s decent and been serviced every year, very nice condition with only a cracked bumper which has been patched an obvious fault
Just difficult to get down there during the week for us so might miss it anyway
Cheers for the advice

As Janine says it's very cheap, makes you wonder why. Would need checking very carefully for damp, unless you are good at DIY damp can cost thousands to repair.
I don't think the mileage is that high only 8,500 a year.

ADVERT TO BE COMPLETED WHEN WE GRAB SOMETIME

Really, not very professional

FULL 31 POINT PDI CHECK

Easy to say, but has it? They didn't have time to finish the advert, did they.

CAM BELT JUST CHANGED

Invoice, receipts etc

STATER Pack.???

CHEAPEST IN THE UK DUE TO BEEN OVER STOCKED

They must have a lot of them to know its the cheapest.

Gramma and spelling isn't very professional. I may be over cautious but I wouldn't waste a day travelling.

Looks a nice van but as said price is low even for mileage, are they prepared to let you have a trial drive? Take a damp meter with you and check it all over, check hpi and prior mots.
Best of luck

You say you will be well under budget, that gives you some slack if there are any problems. It is remarkably cheap but if it's dry and a good runner, take it for a spin.

Are you aware that caravans4u is a brokerage site?

I must say I am cautious by nature and have seen every scam in creation.

I DO smell the feint whiff of rodent here...do you have an address?

Speaking for me, I would keep my hands in my pockets

2005, 14 years old, it don't look very cheap to me, if it's what you want go and have a look , what's to lose.

Personally I wouldn't waste the journey.

Looking at the other stuff there it doesn't look that good, yes it is cheap, but that mileage and the apparent lack of wear in the pictures then I would be very very cautious, and Google the seller, also if totally legit you would have a landline number, not just two mobiles !

Also the sign that has the caravans4u limited and mobile numbers is an old one.

Caravans4u limited went bust in 2017.

I just can't see any problems, all you have got to do is go and have a look, might be bargain of the year, if it is rubbish leave it.
Why all the negative vibes.

It’s always a good idea to ask on here first.
Like I said, Mrs not keen so we won’t chase it. Over 200 miles for something a bit iffy might not be a great idea
Thanks guys

I'd certainly be cautious but if you do all the proper checks and don't hand money over before viewing and doing the checks, I'd contact and ask to view and make sure you get an address and don't meet somewhere half way for convenience. If you don't like then walk away and enjoy your day out.

I used to live in a village 8 miles from Chorley and have never seen or heard of a place like that .
Interesting that the Caravans4u site states they don’t advertise on eBay

It isn't caravans 4u.co.uk. The one selling my went or goes under caravans4u limited. And the limited one is very limited as it went bust 2 years ago.
