Help me get more space (1 Viewer)

I use dropbox all the time, its a great way to back up stuff or keep docs safe. For example its a handy place to store copies of important documents like pdfs of passports and card details. I also use it as a safe place to store photos.

Anyone can have a free 2GB account and enjoy off-site backup at absolutely no cost.

Main problem I can see is bandwidth when on the road. But worth having on board.


PS....

Hey, not only 2G but a bonus of 250MB.

A thought, if all of FUN invited all of FUN we'd have terabytes of storage and effectively take over drop box.

Cheers Brian, yes bandwidth might be a problem on the road, but it's nice to have some free off-site storage. If you lost everything while travelling, you could access copies of travel docs, passports and credit card details etc. Also a good place to keep copies of house/life insurance etc.

just downloaded an app onto my android phone,works well:thumb:
uploaded pics off my phone into dropbox,keep's my phone's memory clear:thumb:

Yes its great for storing phone stuff, I add notes and pictures made on the phone to dropbox and like you say it clears up the phone memory and even better enables you to download those things to any computer without the hassle of hooking up your phone.
