snipe satellite had stuck in raised position , took it off the van and had a look.

base of unit where all the electrics and board are sit was very wet .

trying to dry it out to see if this makes it work but i think its looking like expensive repair

sooooo if we have to buy another ,

we want a cheapish self seeking dish .

any recomendations ?

I had a Snipe Pro Max until my previous motorhome was stolen. I had a problem with the antenna failing to return to the parked position and the solution was to remove all power to the control unit (not just turn off the control unit, but physically disconnect) and, after a short wait, reconnect it.

I dunno if there is such a thing as good AND cheap..
If you have been happy with the Snipe you could always get it repaired
