We are currently near Marseille , heading along the coast to Spain. We have an underslung LPG tank which has just stopped working. The control to turn it on and off doesn't work and the fuses keep blowing so we cannot turn our gas on. Does anyone know anywhere that can have a look and hopefully fix it?

I would have expected the on off control to be a manual function. Are you saying you turn the gas off / on with a switch ?

I agree the tap to turn it on or off would be a physical valve does the OP mean his control panel or heater is blowing fuses when he tries to run the hot water off gas?

Our underslung gas tank has a. Manual valve operated by turning a knob to open and close the valve. Down the line from that is a solenoid valve. Remotely operated by a switch in the habitation panel. If the 12 volt switch has failed it normally does in the closed position. Requiring a 12 volt. Supply to operate it. It may be an idea if you can to take the cover off the tank (one knob in the center of this cover. Check that water has not got under the cover and shorted the electrics. Have known this to happen before.
