Help identifying part

The blind on my roof light started rattling so decided to take a look at it and when I removed it 2 of the little black discs are missing which hold the thin metal rod in place. Anyone know what they call these discs are called please? I’ve searched the tinterweb but can only find wire stoppers etc. but these just simply push on the rod and hold it in place.

You could give these folk a call. You probably won't get an exact match but as long as it grips the shaft and is wide enough it will work.

Alternatively, these would work but perhaps add a penny washer to get the diameter correct.

Spire clips was/is a generic name used in the motor trade for these type of clips..(or they were many years ago).
