Hi All,
Our Hymer B614SL Star has a fantastic strong door but it has been difficult to open from outside for quite a while. Today it wouldn't open at all but I could get in via drivers door and open it from inside. On taking the cover off I find that the inside actuation lever has snapped where the two arrows are. It's die-cast so probably not fixable.
Does anybody know if spares are available rather than the usual "Replace the whole lot". If so do you know the name of the lock or even the part number of this part and a potential supplier.
We are in the South of France with no Hymer dealers near that I know of. And are supposed to be heading south in ten days time for the winter so little time to get it sent from the UK.
Thanks for any help.
Steve

Any chance of stripping it down and getting it to a local welder, may not be possible being die cast alloy but with a try

There are a couple of Hymer dealers not too far from you, one just south of Toulouse and one near Perpignan.
