Help getting into Ducato Cab (1 Viewer)

My wife sometimes has trouble getting up the high step into the Ducato Cab.

We have just bought one of these: https://www.highstreettv.com/car-cane.html

I was initially a bit sceptical about it, but we have just tried it, and it seems very helpful. It fits into the door catch very well, and seems robust enough. Only time will tell.

That looks good if you need help getting into and out of the cab but now I have installed heosafe deadlocks that can only be operated from the inside we will be using the hab door more and the cab doors less and of course the hab door has the omnistep.

I always use the habitation door, because the cab is too high for me

Neat I might buy one of those I have no problems getting in its climbing out that is the problem. Being vertically challenged and with dodgy knees.

Just ordered one for delivery tomorrow. Will road test and report back. Mrs Bass seemed impressed! (It's for her.....I have the steering wheel to hang on to).

I think it was @scotjimlad that posted a bit about an extra step that he fitted, certainly looked the "bees knees"
