Minibus conversion
Hi I have got a 2008 Peugeot boxer H2 L3 17 seater minibus (windows all around) side sliding open door. I am starting to convert into a campervan. Where to start. Just trying to find blinds/curtains to fit all windows proving tricky. Let alone selling seats. Has anyone any advice please? Our put me in touch with anyone who knows thanks wendy

Hello and welcome.
Have you decided what sort of curtains you want ? I got these ones from Van-x (there are others similar) and I found that with a little imagination they could be fitted over any awkward window. These are thermal, double-skinned and uv resistant...and seven years old !

The stretch carpet stuff for the “walls” was done at the same time. It is pretty easy to do as you cut roughly to size, spray with aerosol glue and then pull it to shape around any curves, peeling it off and sticking it back until satisfied with the results. I recently covered new storage units with the same..

What sort of layout are you going for, and what ‘facilities’ do you want to incorporate......bed, cooker, shower/sink, loo.....??

Hi Wendy, have converted a few vans myself over the years

Start with a FULL strip out and don't work round original fittings

Then insulate well

The seats can be a real pain to get rid of, but you may be able to sell a few on Facebook local to you

Tint the windows, especially those you will build over, so they look uniform from outside. We made our own curtains with channel track top and bottom and velcro strips to join up

O'learys and Magnums have loads of stock, and Rainbow conversions make lovely tables to suit all budgets
