Dear Funsters
This is our first post so it’s just a social one just to say a big thank you to Tonka for introducing us to the Funsters and all those Funsters we met during our recent trip to Morocco. We had some great evenings.
A particular thank you to everyone who tried to help out with our engine starting and management problems (the injector warning light). As an update after many abortive and often surreal attempts to find a Fiat dealer or mechanic in Morocco we decided to nurse it back to the UK. This was going swimmingly until Le Havre where we had to get towed onto the ferry. The culprit? - a defective EGR Valve. Not cheap at £550 but now starts and drives like a dream. We did also get a query from the mechanic as to why we had sand in just about every crevice on the vehicle!
Hope to reacquaint ourselves with some old friends and meet some new ones at one of the rallies soon.
All the best:thumb:
