Hello all. Have been having a lot of fun over the last 4 years in an Autosleeper Sportsman (great van btw) and have in the last couple of weeks made the transition to the world of Coachbuilt Motorhomes. Graham from Motorhome Parking kindly pointed me in this direction as little daunted by the size of the new 'van and coping with finding parking (Sportsman was only 15'6" so fitted most normal parking spaces) when out and about. So hints and tips gratefully received

Hi and welcome ..

Coach and lorry parks usually permit motorhomes but check signs before parking, or as many do, leave van on site, use public transport, cycle, walk or buy a tow car .. Park and Ride are useful, some are ok, others have height barriers ... or sell it and buy a caravan.

Graham, a fun member, has compiled a very informative list of towns with parking information.. Google: 'Motorhome friendly parking'
