Hi there everyone. We are still in the process of choosing our first motorhome. Been caravanners for 17 years and now ready for the big change.
We play golf, fly fish and cycle so think a garage model might be best for us but the current dilemma is whether to go for a compact or have an extra metre of living space in a longer model.
We are two women and two dogs so a compact might be a bit of a strain yet we want to be able to get close to some of the lovely little lochs in the wilds of Scotland for fishing.
I guess everyone has these dilemmas when choosing a MH but any advice would be much appreciated.
Mags

Hi and welcome to the forum ::bigsmile: :welcomefunster:flyingwelcome

Can't help with your choice of motorhome, you will just have to look at loads of them, have a good sit in them, see how practical they seem for you and base your decision on that.

Hi Mags52 exciting times. I have three friends that soon after buying their first motorhome realised they needed something a bit larger and had to make the change. A difficult decision if you want to get into tight corners. Spend plenty of time looking around whats on offer at the dealers before you buy, good luck

flyingwelcome Hi and Welcome

We looked at 100s' and in the end went for a completely different layout to what we first thought we wanted. We now realise taking the time, and not rushing in and buying the first one that took our fancy, has indeed paid off. Good luck. :thumb:

Thanks for the welcome

Thanks everyone for the welcome.
We're already thinking again about the layout - will take our time
