Have recently made the move from caravans to a motorhome, it was my mother's and I did say when she come's to sell please can I have first refusal !!
So here we are on a great forum. Van has been serviced and a few other jobs done @Caravan medic, including some floor delam?
Only concern this winter has been the constant battle of starting the deisel engine (2.8 non turbo), it had a new battery fitted when I bought the van but has needed on most occasions a helping boost from the Clarke 4000 Jump starter which did the trick, is this because of lack of use?

Looking forward to this season and being part of motorhome fun, with interest on the 'Going full time' threads :)

Nice to meet you all

Hello and a very warm welcome from another Durham Boy, if only.
I live just outside Durham City, a bit in the sticks though. I'm sure you will enjoy the site and hope your touring dreams come true.

Hi and welcome to the fun. Your battery is most likely on its way out they tend to fail when it gets colder. If it has been left standing a while it has probably been left too long in a discharged state.
