I'm a newbie
Hi All

Just a quick introduction from the missus and I.

Was on the dark side until just recently when we decided the caravan days were to be no longer. It was all getting to much with towing and setting uo etc. Did not want to jump in to deep so bought an old but absolutely great condition Auto-Sleeper

Had a few trips, although short one's so far, but lovin' it! So much easier than the caravan, maybe a bit more difficult to wander off site to do a bit of sight seeing but hey not a big price to pay

So looking forward to getting info from you old timers:winky:

Hi Mike and Helen, Caravanners may well "see the light" when they sell the caravan and buy a motorhome, but the term Dark Side we reserve for another motorhome forum:Smile: ::bigsmile: Welcome to the Fun :thumb: I'm sure you will use your motorhome MUCH more than you did the caravan:Smile:

I reckon we'll ( I'll ) have to organise a rally down here next year
I know of a steam railway that runs a real ale train and has previously offered use of their car-park for the weekend.
I'll get my *rse in gear

Cheers. Nige

It can be a huge price to pay. Say you are on site for a hot sunny week, awning out, carpet down, BBQ out, windbreaks out, table and chairs out.

Now how much trouble is it to so a bit of sightseeing ?

Swings and Roundabouts.

Bikes on the back of the motorhome is the way to go, that way you will explore places you would never have found on foot or in the motorhome :thumb:
