You'd better have a Plan B, it's hard to park a car in UK town centres. The reality is we are probably the worst country in Europe for using a motorhome which is why most of us head across the channel.

Yes, you will find cheap/free but not near a town.

I can think of one place, Pleasureland Southport at £12/16 a night.
