Not I, but my Father came from there and I was at Hatfield College, Durham University.

Not I, but my Father came from there and I was at Hatfield College, Durham University.

I was a member of staff at University College and, before that St Chad's. My father's mother's family were Freemen of Durham City until the early 1800s (male line died out) but there are family connections to the Dean and Chapter, the Bishop and the Castle from around 1580 (John Harbart was a Royal Appointment) until today.

Next week we'll be in Sedgefield as our friends have a farm there and it's handy for getting to my parents and for visiting Martin's siblings.
