Hi everyone

I am Bill and the wee bit is Ailsa. We have tugged and motorhomed for nearly 20 years and currently have a 4 year old Burstner.
Toured mostly in the UK but ventured into Europe a couple of years ago and again this year, loved Germany.
Plant to be much more active when I retire in 18 months and will then start attending meets and rallies.

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
Hello and welcome Bill and Ailsa , you'll get lots of info on here. Were not retired and manage to get to quite a few Motorhome fun rallies. Though we don't do the big Motorhome shows.

Welcome, we had a few days at Port Erroll (Cruden Bay) this June and we were very lucky with the weather. A lovely part of the world.

But having been brought up in Carlisle, which was a full and long day's drive to the channel ports I sympathise with you, must be a good two day's drive. But then you do have the rest of Scotland on your doorstep!

Hi weebill and welcome from sunnier climates in the south west Scotland, sunny Dumfries. We are planning a wee trip up north first week in November, not 100% sure where yet possibly round the Inverness area.

Hi Lorger
The CCC site in Dingwall is very nice and well placed for a walk into Dingwall but I don't know if it stays open.

been there , done that , got the survival suite
during the 80s I flew out of Dyce to work off shore with Amoco

I look out at Dyce airport from my office window; i can be a scary place for take off and landing in the wind. Never been offshore although I have worked in the oil industry for almost 30 years.
