As a new member, I am pleased to introduce my self as follows:
First of all, please excuse my poor knowledges of english.
Retired for now 18 months, I have received my van in July 2014 and has already made several trips (Germany, Austria, France, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Dannemark, Norway). Already 30'000 km since I received my van.
My next trip: Scotland, and I hope to find information on this site as well as I am ready to also communicate about my experiences and to answer questions about Switzerland and the countries I have visited.
    With my best regards.
    Kett

Well it has a few bumps in the ground that we call mountains but not mountains as you know them.

Not to be overlooked is The Lake District, the most well known being Windermere, you more or less have to pass to get to Scotland.

You also have to pass our lowlands, with an outlook a bit like the Netherlands, with lots of flat and waterways. Area around Norwich.

So start a travel thread and tell us what you'd like to see.

Hi Kett, we are from the South west of Scotland so if we can be of any help please just ask. Do you have a rough plan yet of where you would like to visit.
