We have had a motor home for about 9 years now. The first one was a VW Trident which was great - small enough to use as a second vehicle and big enough to take on holidays. Last year it took us to Greece via Lake Como and Venice and one of the best holidays we had in it was to Scotland and the Outer Hebrides where at times it was definitely better to have a smaller van. However we decided it would be nice to have a bit more luxury and we recently purchased a Mobilvetta Top Driver 52 which has a bathroom and the added bonus of a bed that is permanently made even if you have to be agile enough to go up and down the ladder. We are planning a trip to France this summer and will be getting a passport for our dog Holly. We retired from work 8 years ago and have been married for 45 years. We are looking forward to getting tips from fellow motorhome owners.
