Hi all,
we are ex pats living in Bulgaria with no UK home. we are now thinking of selling our home here and going full time with a motor home/RV and travel the rest of europe.
Look forward to as much assistance as you can possibly give us.

Hi Tim and thanks for the welcome.
Bulgaria is a beautiful country. Very cold winters and wonderful hot long summers.
We live in the old medieval and once capital of Bulgaria, Veliko Tarnovo located in the centre of the country. WE have two sites in the area owned by Brit expats which cater for Motor homes and campers.
here is a link to one of them. http://www.campingvelikotarnovo.com/ Not sure about the rest of the country for parking facilities. Its a pretty easy going country so I imagine you can park up anywhere and look around. The road infrastructure is not the best. Once you leave Austria and head through Hungary, Romania into Bulgaria the roads worsen so to does the standard of driving lol the good thing is that there are less vehicles on the road.
For living in its the cheapest place in Europe, hence our early retirement out here. LPG is found everywhere. Food is cheap so too is beer and wine.
Its still reeling through the many years of communism and many have left the villages to go live in cities around europe where pay is more rewarding, but the life is good and food fresh and the people are very kind and crime rate low with no fear of wandering around streets after dark even in large cities.
