Hello to all from Derek & Gunn. Derek, Retired from work in October and Gunn works as a pre-school teacher.

From Skipton, in North Yorkshire, but have lived in Norway for 35 years.

Bought a 2013 Knaus Boxstar 600 Family on a Fiat Ducato base. Newbie

Hi and welcome, we visited Norway a couple of years ago and loved it, one of my friends daughters is a teacher in Bergen.

Winter isn't to bad really We live by a fjord and the coast is "heated" up by the warm Gulf stream. It can get really cold for a week or two minus 10-15 degrees C in the darker months.

to Fun. Lovely city in a wonderful country. Toured Norway a couple of times and been to Bergen even more often, particularly when Norrona called there from the Faroes. Wife has an uncle on Smøla and we are on a promise to visit.

Welcome to the forum. We have friends who live in Bergen and we visited them there last December. They have an apartment overlooking a fjord and we watched the big ships coming in and out decked in their Christmas lights. Magical.

We're planning a motorhome tour up through Sweden and back down through Norway next summer. May pick your brains for some info if that's OK?

My sister married a Norwegian and they live near Vradal by lake nisser ... I'm over there every year ,but only had a van over twice..
Next summer I'm thinking of doing a journey to the north cape ...
