I'm a newbie
I'm Alan and new to motorhomes, thoroughly enjoyed 2cv'ing (citroen) with trailer tents for 30 years, time for a change, too old for camping now, we want a bit of comfort.
I'll probably be asking questions you've all heard before, I've been watching quite a few on fleabay since last year.
Am I right in my conclusion that this is the wrong time of year to buy?
Is there any particular type better than another for wind resistance, cab over or not?
Is the size of engine important (for 2 people)?
Is it better to buy trade or private?
Are mot's, tax and insurance expensive?
What's a reasonable mpg?
Are there any brands preferable to others, or any to avoid?
Are there any typical mistakes newbies tend to make?
Are there any without a pink interior? lol!

I'm sure there will be more, it's a start.

regards Al

Welcome, just be very careful buying off fleabay, there are masses of scams on there!
Do not part with any money until you have viewed the vehicle & determined that the seller is the owner.
