I'm a newbie
Hello Everyone,

I am so glad that I have come across this site. I am planning to sell up, buy a motorhome and travel, with my dog ( a big dog) I am a complete Newbie to this, I haven't even driven a truck but I do have a c1 on my license, it's a nerve-wracking but also exciting new prospect for me. Aside from speaking to the caravan and motorhome club and speaking with a couple of dealers about the choice of vehicle, that is as far as I have got. I don't even know where to start, so I would really welcome any advice, what to look for, the practicalities, and anything else you experts think is worth knowing. Hope to hear from you. Many thanks, have a wonderful day everyone.

If not too short notice, I would suggest gong to the National Show at NEC. You will probably come away with head buzzing and confused but at least you will know all the choices out there.:)

:) Thanks, Riverbankannie, that is a great idea, will see if I can get there, due to work commitments, it might be difficult but will certainly try. Thanks again.

Hi And Welcome, everybody has a different idea about the ideal van and what suits us might not suit you, have a look at an old Niesmann Bischoff Flair, great van on a good chassis, loads of storage and built like a brick outhouse.

And yes do subscribe it will be the best £15 of your motorhome journey.

Welcome!!
You can get quite a big MH with a C1 :)
Our C-Class is small enough for regular Car class driving licence. Plenty of room for 2 adults + 2 cats :)

Hello as you have already used your 5 free posts up you would need to subscribe to post further questions, I would say whatever you do please do a lot more reaserch a dealer is probably the worst person to advise you as basically they are there to sell vans by all means visit ask questions but make sure you make notes and ask about pay load storage etc.
Good luck
