We are new to this
Hi everyone ,
This is John & Ann we are new to having a Motorhome but are very much looking forward to doing some travelling , once we get to grips with it . Can anyone suggest a Sat nav that will avoid narrow roads and low bridges please .
The latter we encountered on our second trip out 🤣😂
Thanking you in anticipation look forward to hearing from you.😊

Welcome 👍
Take your pick on Sat-Navs. We have a Garmin 770 Camper. It is fine but, I wouldn't believe it, or indeed any other, 100% of the time. We also have the lengths and width of ours overstated by a bit in the settings just in case. Best to have a map with you and still keep an eye out for the road signs. Even if there are no warning signs, if it doesn't look good, stop, and do a bit of checking. There are plenty of threads on here showing MH in a spot of trouble on narrow roads.
Enjoy your travels 👍

Motorhoming since 2015......
Welcome from Ciren! (y)

(always useful to carry a Trucker’s Atlas with you as well - you cannot rely 100% on ANY sat nav, even if it has your ‘van’s dimensions in it……also the Mk1 eyeball helps too….. ;))

as BnBJwf said above!
