6 years but caravan owner in past
Hi everyone,
Just joined today. We live in Wales and just bought a second hand motor home last Friday. It's a very old Frankia Atlantis and we love it! We used to have an Abbey Lancaster vanand toured around the Uk and France until the family grew up.
We thought we would go for a motorhome as it's easier as you get older but bought second hand until we are sure we liked it as much as our old caravan.

We are newbies and would be grateful for any advice. We are thinking of going to Calais area sometime to stock up on wine. Thinking about ferry. Which is the best value ferry for a motorhome?
We also would like to fit a gas oven/grill. Any ideas about service dealers to do this. Also the ladder to the overhead bed is missing. Last of all are there any other Frankia owners in the forums?
Looking forward to joining in.

Link RemovedHi Staging Lady,

A very warm welcome from me.

They're a very helpful and friendly bunch here.

Bought a ladder on ebay from craig_utd a few months ago. They sold like hot cakes.Worth keeping an eye out.

Only one there is £50 at the moment.

Try Linda at Stateside. She may know.

Since before Motorhomefun
P & O, Seafrance or Norfolkine all do ferry deals.

You can get a good 240 volt mini oven for around £20 upwards that might well do.

Ladder others will be along to help.

Welcome BTW:winky:
