JHiya

Just joined up after looking at lots of forums. This one loos to be the most active :) Im currently driving my first Motorhome a Burstner Argos 747-2. Love it. Using it mainly for motorsport but we are off Snowboarding in January which at 1000 miles in a day should be fun for us all.

Cheers
Mark..

You have re-defined the word "fun".

Ah you see we used to do this all the time, the big adventure. Its actually part of the fun the long trip, the adventure. This time for the first time we are traveling in total luxury and can even stop and have a little sleepies or a Nesspresso as I have a genny onboard for 240 :) we always used to do this in a van or SUV style so no where near as nice.

Ah you see we used to do this all the time.

Well the day you post "we did do 1000 miles in 24 hours in our MH" I will swiftly doff my cap to you.

Mind you, if you are not fussed about mpg, the Germans show that 80 mph is a good cruising speed in a MH. I've tracked them on my bike at that speed and could hardly believe it.
