I thought I would write a quick post to introduce myself.

Myself (Steve) and my good lady (Amanda) are looking for our first motorhome. We are in no rush, and at the moment we are in the very early stages.

We have visited a few dealers to get an idea on layouts. As a real newbie, we are finding everything a bit overwhelming, but enjoying the learning process.

We did see a nice van at our local dealer, an Auto-trail Tracker RS. On further research, I found that the payload is only 240kg. Thank heavens for research.

It took us 3 years looking on and off before we bought our first one.

Good luck with your search. I enjoyed the researching process. You learn so much. I didn't know about this site until after we had committed to our purchase, which could have possibly saved some time but you have to go with what you are happy with..

I'm sure you will get lots of advice if you ask.

Welcome, we looked at 100vans before buying ours, but 11years later we still have the same van as we took our time getting the right one for us. (Some of it was luck rather than good research)
