We have a problem with the step on the motorhome it will not retract when out.
It goes part the way up but not completely. All seems ok and I have checked the fuses and they are ok.
everything under the step is connected and I am stuck on a solution. Has anyone in the forum come across the same problem and is so how did you solve the problem ?

Thanking you in anticipation

most common reasons for problems are dirty/corroded electrical contacts , the step motor is usually a converted type of wiper motor but because it only needs to operate in a very limited range the spindle /cog can seize up . removal ,lubrication and new grease will usually sort it. regards garry
