Hello All Just bought a Nuevo (1 Viewer)

In 2020 we did a conversion of our old Toyota Previa into a little camper van. We also have a largish Caravan. In order to complete the lineup we just bought a 2004 Auto Sleepers Nuevo. We are very pleased with it and look forward to many adventures. One question I have is does the van alternator charge both the engine battery and the Leisure battery as we motor along

The engine charges both batteries, but on EHU you control which battery is charged with the Veh/Hab switch on the control panel. Make sure you’re switched to Hab when camped.
We love our Nuevo, on a 2nd one after 11 years in an 05 model. There is an Autosleeper’s Owners forum which is also worth joining.

Hi and welcome, the alternator should charge the Hab and Cab battery when driving, ours was not charging the Hab battery when we got as the change over relay was not working, simple way to check is to see if when you switch the fridge 12v when driving the light comes on on the fridge, on ours the D wire had broken so the relay would not switch,
