Hello all Simon & Elly here - first time MH owners with plans of a year or 2 out of the rat race and travelling starting late next year - daunting and somewhat terrifying prospect to be honest but we’re fortunate that kids are now pretty much off our hands and after 30 years of non stop work for each of us - we deserve it ? been a year of looking at more vans than I care to mention, 2 holidays this year in hired ones of varying layout and build and twice to the NEC and a few other shows. So much to learn and so hopefully looking forward to being able to get advice and answers from all you knowledgable folk on here.
from a freezing Yorkshire. Sounds as though you have a good idea about what you are looking for, I would say personally that layout and weight are the most important things to consider, enjoy the search as it is part of the fun.
