Just wanted to say Hi! and give a short intro. 50+ y/o couple who recently came to the conclusion we should give this MH business a try. Renting a semi-integrated in a couple of weeks, and have an advance order on a 2022 (seems they're sold out everywhere!) provided we like what we see and do during this try-and-buy thingy.

Must add that this forum is amazing. Have been on a couple of Swedish MH forums but the level of activity over there, no. of members considered, is nowhere near what we see here. And the way everyone - well mostly - behave and respect one-another makes it a joy to be a part of, all you folks on here really should be a little proud for making it what it is.

Hej! And welcome. :) Only problem is very few are going anywhere at the moment but things will return to normal eventually. We are staying in the UK this year but will travel further next year. :)

Climb in and enjoy,

Iā€˜ve driven by Norrkopling many times, but only stopped over once (on the way to or from Stockholm)

As a constant traveller Iā€™ve picked up lots of bits of different languages but all the Scandinavian counties have just eluded me.

Now just to look stupid, am I correct hej, hej, is pronounced hey, hey. and seems to be answered with a single hej.?

In Scandinavia Iā€™ve always been so pleased that most everyone speaks English, simply because unlike other countries I just donā€™t seem to be able to pick up anything from the locals.

Cheers everyone, and thanks for making my point, in being friendly and making us newcomers feel right at home!

We've visited the UK several times, and enjoy all of it - and as foreigners it's a little sad that you're out of the EU, but let's not get into that debate here and now when we've managed this friendly atmosphere :hi:

Appreciate all the kind comments about the ol' country - we appreciate it too, but as everyone else we enjoy going abroad and the UK - particularily Scotland and Wales are on our list of favourite destinations that we've been lucky enough to get to visit a few times.

Great to see that many of you have been here and have a relation to Sweden - and to our slightly strange-sounding language ::bigsmile:

The hej is pronounced just like hey, and you can certainly answer with a simple hej - the double hej tend to be used when you just meet someone like passing by, not sure why but I've noticed that's how most people greet one another.

Ah well - hard to keep It short with everyone's comments and questions, but better stop it here so that Jim doesn't have to pay extra for storage and server capacity :blusher:
