its no problem you will need the tools to cut the hole and be able to route the tubing. apart from that all bits are available on line.

I've fitted a 12V Chinese Diesel Air Heater in My van as My older Truma Combi boiler is heavy on 12V. They give off plenty of heat { 5KW }.
You can add an extra vent to Your existing blown air system. Bits are on ebay.

Yes can be done I was in the same situation when we bought ours.
I managed to extend the duct around the corner and put another outlet
to blow into the drivers cab area.
As said no problem getting the bits on the internet.

Re: Chinese Diesel Heaters.
They are cheap to buy as they are an Eberspacher Cheaper Copy.
They come with an LCD controller & remote controller so you can turn them on remotely
eg, to defrost or pre-warm your van.
If You sleep upstairs in the Luton and the temperature drops You can use the remote to turn it on from your bed.
I have fitted them in My own and others vans, boat etc
The parts are cheap to buy.
They are a bit like Marmite, You will love or hate them.
They chuck the heat out.
8C to 35C for a 5KW.
LCD Controller, use with the 10L fuel tank or plumb in to your main fuel tank.
Small tick, tick, tick 12V diesel pump.
Lots of info on Youtube.
Circa £100 to £200 for the kit from HongKong.
I upgrade some of the parts and lag the very hot exhaust pipe.
You can fit 2 exhaust silencers to make the exhaust quieter outside.
{ above given as a general basic info }

*Machzoneman* , do you think it would fit under the drivers seat in a Boxer? We have a PVC and the storage under the seats is already taken up. Also we don’t want it under the bed. We don’t have seat swivels. Thanks?

I've fitted one in the passenger seat on a Merc Sprinter. Normally I look under the van to see if anything is in the way. A stainless steel under floof mounting can be bought for circa £100.

The heater can also be fitted sideways as long as the glow plug is uppermost.
This saves the exhaust being even lower.

The badged 8KW heaters have an actual output of 5KW.

They are cheap but good and effective heaters which is why I have become a fan.

I usually lag the exhaust as they are very hot. Use better jubilee clips, flush heater vent outlets instead of the non-flush versions supplied. I usually fit 7L fuel tanks as the 10L or 15L are usually too large to fit. I buy longer exhaust pipes as the reach is better.
