I can't speak for the Rapido but both my Hymers used a CH system duct to the tank.

I have a 2017 8096df and I believe that the blown air heating system vents around the waste tank

Hi Bill, I am pretty sure that the double floor (DF) Rapidos run the Truma heating ducts or Alde pipes through the area around the tank, like our Hymer has. That ensures that it does not freeze.

Yep, on the DF models the tank is within the floor void and has blower outlets to keep thing toasty.

Thanks for the replies I was asking the question as I bought the M/H new and was charged £259:00 for a heated waste water tank, you live and learn as they say. Bill

Leave it full Bill and see if it freezes, you could never test it here in Javea. 😁 Bob.
