I had some of those plastic headlight protectors but lost one is a huge gale one night over on the west coast. Any idea where to get some more ?

or what they are made from as I could make my own. Thanks

not long enough
I have had to replace two headlights now šŸ¤”šŸ™ both we are sure down to tension not impact. But I did invest in the plastic shields but like you lost one quite early on

Then bought some of this

Not the easiest thing to fit and trim and not cheap, but about the same price as I paid for the polycarbonate covers which although probably functional I thought looked awful

There is no way this Lam X is coming off by accident šŸ‘

I chose Lamin-X protective film for ours as once itā€™s in place it doesnā€™t come off easily, and you canā€™t tell itā€™s there.
I had to get it direct from the US at the time though as the stockists here only appeared to have pre cut shapes for specific models and only in the thin coloured variety, more for customising than protecting.
It has been in place for 3-4 years now and hasnā€™t discoloured or shrunk.
I think ours is around 2mm thick and occasionally see evidence of a strike by way of scuff marks that are easily rubbed away.
Very good product.

I have bought my Australian manufactured protectors at Motorhome Shows. I only needed one once and still managed to buy one from a stand.

I got mine from EBay a few years back now . Still available Ā£78.99 so cheaper to make your own if possible. Suckers are available on line.
