Not long enough!
I'd like to swap the OEM headlamp bulbs in our Travel Van for some high intensity versions. I've read the handbook which says you just take off the covers at the back and unplug the bulbs. However, when I look under the bonnet I can't see any way of getting to the back of the lamps as various other bits of the vehicle are in the way (and I'm balancing on a step-up so there's a huge risk of dropping something!). Thinking someone must have done this before I tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything.
Is there a trick to this?
I can see that the headlamps assemblies appear to be held in by two screws so I'm wondering if the best way is to take the units out completely - but if I do that do I loose the alignment?

What year and make is your MH?
Some are easier than others to do. I had a Sprinter that was easy. I had a Renault Scenic which was a three hour job at the Renault agents.

Brilliant. Thanks for that. And now I also know what I want for Christmas - an electric torque wrench!

No idea what you are planning to fit but take care if the new lights are HID (High Intensity Discharge), I believe the MoT now requires that the headlamp unit is also changed. I think it is to do with self levelling and washers to avoid dazzling oncoming vehicles.

Useful info, thanks.

Changing the bulbs in the PVC tail lights, now that's another challenge when the day comes.

Did you notice near the beginning of the video that the scuttle drain was clogged with leaf litter.
