Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
That brocolli looks like a crime against vegetables
Like I said ( on the funsters fat fighting thread where Robert asked to see it ) it was all done together in the slow cooker.:D
It does look a bit grim ...
Cooked for Hours with the pork with spinach onion and string beans.
It’s much better steamed so it’s still firm. Not stewed.
But nice enough to come home to , done , after work.
The next time I do it I’ll just do the belly pork and onion in there . Then steam the veg whilst I crisp up the belly fat in the oven for 20 min . Much better.(y)

Saturday - lazy day in the sun

Woke to a beautiful sunny morning, so decided to stay another day.

We went for a walk up the steep road that leads upto the main road.

The views of the little cove below are quite stunning

No plans for today other than enjoying the sunshine in our little piece of paradise

Sunday - getting ready for home

We’ve left our home on the beach and moved closer to Patras, to empty and fill up ready for our ferry tomorrow.

But not before the ladies had cooked cheesy omlets and sautéed mushrooms

We’re staying at CC55075 and have secured sea front pitches.

Having enjoyed a couple of cold beers, tonight, we’re enjoying a typical Greek meal at the on site Taverna.

For starters we had fried cheese

Then we had Greek Salads

For mains we had grilled fishes with salad

We paired the copious amounts of white and rose wine

Can you guess the bill?

You seriously need help Robert, you are a man who says he doesn't like being imprisoned in sites. You are in the land of wild camping heaven but you keep staying on sites.
You've lost the plot

After a couple of days wilding we needed to ‘empty’ before spending a night on the ferry.
Would help if there was a dump station at the ferry port.
Didn’t see any at service stations either. Have you seen any ?

Found a Camper stop not to far from Patras that allowed you to service for €3.

Since the 90's
Safe trip home Robert, be vigilant at the port, there were refugees there last year at this time, they're generally targeting the trucks but best to be aware just the same.
Security were playing keystone cops with them, chasing them back over the fence but they would all be back a few mins later. Quite funny to watch if it wasn't all so sad.

Pete.

Monday - heading home

Woke to a beautiful, still and sunny morning.

The sea was like a mirror

DEA2FE38-62BD-43AA-B264-28E6D1B9A72C.jpeg

Have packed up and will be heading to the ferry port a little later on.

It’s been a great adventure, having had a near miss with a coach on the wrong side of the road in Italy.

Then side stepping the Medicane storm.

The storm meant that we never made it to our original destination of Elafonisos, but we had great FUN and shall try again next year.

A new Greek adventure awaits

Bye!
