Heading to Ballater (1 Viewer)

We're off to Ballater http://www.ballatercaravanpark.com tomorrow for a 3 nights stay. Quite exciting - our 2nd trip in the van. I feel better prepared this time, in that I know what we need and what we do not! Famous last words?

I'm looking forward to some new walks with the hairy bairns and just chilling for a few days. Weather forecast is acceptable. Woohoo!

We liked Ballater, and enjoyed our visit to Balmoral

It was most enjoyable. Rained the whole day Friday - which is not ideal with 2 dogs! However, we had a great weekend despite the blip in the weather. The site was choc-a-bloc - and there were a lot of bairns; school holidays, I suppose. I found it a bit noisy at times as we were sited by the playground! Anyway, they were only being bairns! A few very good pubs with very good beer - all dog friendly. The site was spotless and welcoming. I'll go back - if only to enjoy it during a less busy time .....hopefuly.
