Yes it was. You can overnight on the West Beach car park. I have been twice this year and loved it.

Steve. From 1st November to 31st March there are no daytime parking charges on Hayling Island and the overnight charge at West Beach car park for motorhomes drops to £10 per night.
As the 31st is a friday I would think anyone is fine parking overnight as the charges would only relate from 10pm to midnight.
Elsan disposal point next to the toilets and showers at the car park entrance. Its accessed using a RADAR key available for £3 from the Beachlands office by the funfair.
