Can anyone confirm that motorhomes are allowed free daytime parking in Hayling Island and a charge of £10 per night (9pm - 9am) for overnighting from January to March please ?
Someone told me this today but not sure if he knows for sure.

Think they could be right as I have taken the dogs over for a run along the beach four times in the last few weeks and the ticket machines are still switched off.

Overnighting is only allowed in one place though. It is called the West Beach car park. You are right on the beach and have a lovely view across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The nearby Inn On The Beach does reasonable food.

We were brought up near there and going stirred lovely memories of childhood visits to the beach with Mum and Dad.
