I recon campsites are going to get extremely busy very soon, maybe not as crowded as Bournemouth but if all 250000 motorhomes registered in GB (aprox 2.5 vans per square mile) take to the road after the weekend it could be fun.

Hi Bladerunner , we used to help run a THS on the Isle of Wight , we always bagged the first week of seven , as you weren't sorting previous stewards mistakes , we used to get 60 to 70 arrive first day . bit of a panic stations with just the 2 male stewards 1 booking in & the other siting them etc.yep
had decided on staycation this summer anyway, so 2 weeks and around 8 sites booked UK months ago.
Going to Longleat this Saturday - be fun as must be unique to have the whole site arrive the same day. Have been given a timed entry slot.
We have booked there for next Tuesday to Friday. Lovely campsite. The restaurant isn’t open until the 10th but that’s not a problem. So excited to just be getting away, will be cycling to Woolacombe, Ilfracombe etcYes, Hidden Valley in North Devon.
It was the third I tried.
First week in August.
Site isn't fully functional, for heath, safety reasons the toilet and wash block are closed. They are only accepting bookings from self sufficient units.
We have stayed at Manor Farm Burton Bradstock (and the THS next door) a couple of times, lovely spot very near the sea and village - enjoy. Our most recent bookings made last week were for
Manor Farm, Burton Bradstock, Dorset August Bank Holiday
Salisbury CCC in August
Henley Four Oaks CMC in September
Hoping CCC Temporary Holiday Sites will also be running in August as we have a gap to fill.
Previous bookings made during lockdown
Southport CMC July
Delamere Forest CCC July
Ferry Meadows CMC August
IoW with MCC rally in September / October.
Deliberately centred on the main clubs for bookings this year, just out of ease of booking and some [misplaced] worries over standards at other smaller ones.
Avoided Wales and Scotland this year due to their uncertainty.
We are going to Beadnell bay next week, although I booked it over a month ago I could only get a pitch with no electric.Yes, Beadnell beginning of August for three nights.
Edit, because my memory is rubbish. We also booked in at Appletreewick for a couple of nights in July.
