We have an N&B Arto 69GL (2003) which is obviously nearly 20 years old.

We bought it at 6-years old, so I doubt that anything was replaced before that.

The systems/appliances like most MHs are all 'bought-in', e.g Dometic fridge, Smev cooker, Truma boiler.

We read about lots of breakdowns of such systems/appliances but so far our only failure has been one water pump. Recent gas check found everything OK.

Have we been lucky or have others had equal longevity with theirs?

I know N&B are quality, but can they have any influence over these items?

As you say Geoff most of the stuff in your van is standard kit so you might have been lucky, our N+B was good as well although in the 8 years we had it I had to put in a Alde circulation pump and fix the ignition knob on the Smev gas hob🤔 I wouldn’t say too much if I were you 😏

You only hear when it goes wrong, not too many people praising their fridge/cooker….😎

Most appliances, heating systems, etc. give little trouble in my experience. How they're thrown in and connected by most converters can cause problems.
