Me again.

Surflow pump runs for about 10 seconds after the tap is closed after a “bush fix”

If you saw my previous thread, I had a catastrophic leak from the dump valve. My first solution was to blank each side of the dump so we could at least have a functioning water system for our trip on Friday. I went a bit further and created what you can see in the pick below.

I’m wondering if my new dump tap, which will let water pass from one side of the circuit to the other is causing an issue?

Would the old dump valve have made a dead-end for each side?

The water now appears to come out of the taps with more pressure than before.

Can you post a pic / link to an example of the valve itself pls?

Edit - as you were. That sounds like some air trapped in the system, maybe in the water heater. Try running the taps for a good while to clear it out.

We always have this after drain down and it always clears, sometimes within a few used of the taps other times takes days - nothing to worry about if everything looks OK
