It was frosty and sunny here this morning, however, the day has gone completely downhill since then..........it is now very wet and blowing a gale:Sad:

Why does the wind always get up when it's our night to leave the wheelie bin out? It never fails, so it will not be going out tonight:Angry:

    Snow

I'm guessing you must live near a good friend of mine? Brian Morrison who lives at Muir of Squaredoch, Deskford. We aim to get up there in the van next Autumn.

Yes, we spent a few days with them last April on a grand tour which included Edinburgh, st Andrews, Loch Ewe, and a week on Skye in brilliant weather. Wonderful.

Bournemouth - no sign of the white stuff since we moved here in March last year.

I would have preferred some snow, but not the winds, instead of all this rain we have been having recently, raining again tonight.

A gradual thaw of the snow reduces the risk of flooding.

No snow anywhere then, except the offices of the Daily Express which will remain blizzard bound until the hose-pipe ban sets in in mid February.

    snow

it hasn't snowed here in wakefield and like the rest of the uk were not going to have any either. not till the end of February and then its only going to be light showers on the high ground. so that's looking really good but we are going to have our fair share of frost just need to wrap up well and await the arrival of spring. steve:thumb:
