As seen at https://www.joolca.co.uk/

I'm a bit surprised not to have seen these featured on youtube videos of the more basic van converters as s simpler (but outdoor) solution for showers / washing up water supply especially as it a continuous supply rather than preheating a set amount of water as many van systems do

Have any of you seen these / tried them?

Not that brand, but we have used a Kampa Geyser portable gas water heater for a number of years while wild camping in our VW Amarok. The most efficient way to use these types of appliance is to cycle the cold water through a largish container to warm it through - an open top plastic dumpy type thing is good - before using it to shower with. There are a few YouTube videos of those ones.

Daft as maybe, but I prefer to use the one inside.

Used these while in the desert. They get hot enough to burn you, but needs sunshine to work, something we’re kinda short of 🤷🏼‍♂️

Nice for a freshen up when you get out of the sea. I have a separate whale pump with a shower attachment on the end. Just decant the hot water into a tub, add cold to reduce the temperature a tad, and pump away. For privacy, I have sometimes taken the tub inside the van and used the on board Riech pump to pump the hot water through to our own shower. Obviously it's a fixed temperature though, but a cheap shower.

I remember seeing an on Italian motorhome on an Aire in the South of France.

It had a huge Black plastic tank on top that the owner filled with water once on-site.

Endless hot water in the summer, probably too hot and unable to be able to be driven due to top heavy weight. Neat idea though .

I found that a 20ltr black plastic drum worked nearly as well as the custom bag, and easier to manhandle about.

I have seen a couple of self build MH and they went for slimline "on demand" gas boilers like you would find at home.

I like the idea, but wonder why I haven't seen many vans set up this way?
