Hartal Door Lock (1 Viewer)

I have a 2011 Besacar E425...the Habitation door lock doesn't work with the key...only works with the central locking...I stripped the panel off the door and all the linkages etc look like they are in place and working so I think its the lock barrel that is not working...has anyone changed a lock bareel on a hartal door like this

Probably a Zadi lock and you will need a barrel release key, which are available on Ebay

My 2009 Bessie had a spare barrel in the Handbooks case, if you haven't got a spare you can buy a new one on EBay but it will come with a separate new key, or buy a new set of barrels and change all the lockers as well .
You may also be able to free up the existing barrel by soaking it in some light oil or lubricant once you have removed it before buying replacements.

Edit: If you do buy new barrels make sure they are the correct length for the locks.
