Hartal Door Bin D-Ring Replacement

Could someone tell me where I can buy a replacement 'D' ring please? The D-Ring is the part that holds the bin liner and clips on to the front of the bin to hold it in place. I can find loads of adverts for D-Rings for the new style bin but none for the old style.

Our bin lid cracked on ours so we replaced it with the square version, it was pricey (£34 ish) but gives much more rubbish space

Thank you for your reply. We thought we might end up doing that because we find it too small as well. Is it the same size for the brackets?

I had one break some years ago, and couldn't find a replacement - now, I'm really not very handy but I did manage to repair it with a panel pin (head removed.). Drilled into the d-ring on both sides of the break, pinned and glued it - worked well. But it was on a relatively straight section of the ring.

Don't know if this is of any help.

Thanks but mine has broken right in the middle of the 'D' next to where it clips on to the outside of the bin. A tricky bit to fix. (

We just hang a pedal bin liner bag on a hook,,BUSBY.

No it didn't require any other drilling

Thanks, Ingwe but it is out of stock. I think it is ironic that the 'new' D-Ring for the rectangular bin is advertised as 'super strong' while the old D-Ring is thin plastic and replacements are unobtainable!

Did the same repair as solwaybuggier but with a heatshrink sleeve,very successfull !
