Harley-Davidson unveiled the Serial 1 e-bike, borrowing the name of its first motorcycle from 1903. The electronic bicycle's black frame, leather seat and white tires are also a nod to the early days.

To look better it needs cow horn style bars like the 1903 serial 1. Otherwise it's just another overpriced electric bike

It will sell, despite being probably 100% overpriced simply because it is HD. Off the shelf components and a bit of metal bashing = big profit. Hats off to them for actually doing something though

Why bother?? - apart from striving for some "green" credentials and to meet emission standards etc. for their product range; California springs to mind.

I guess that it might be O.K. in California to use without mudguards.
They're all at it. Old Brit bike manufacturers' names are being used for marketing £90 Tee shirts and leccy eBikes - they plobabry all come off same ploduction rine.

That was my first thought about the bars
i have seen the original serial 1 a couple of times (100th anniversary in Barcelona 2003 and at the HD museum in Milwaukee 2008).
I’d love one, but probably won’t pay over the odds for one
