Can anybody advise the best fuse to piggy back off for the hard wiring of a dashcam?

I have an A class Burstner on a Fiat.

Thanks

I think I used a 2 amp on mine, the fuse is there to protect the cable not the device.

Apparently keeping a Nextbase dashcam permanently live is a killer for the dashcam battery and it is recommended to have a switched live.

Am not sure now whether to connect to a permeant live or switched live….

I went with the permanent live connection and will just turn off or remove the dash am went not travelling etc.
