Happy with 25mpg (1 Viewer)

Had our Lunar Roadstar for a while now, done 4000 miles in it and done a fuel consumption workout.
Seems to be getting 25mpg. To me that is just fine.

8m overcab 4250 kg MGW. Usually full o beer, wine, an extra this and that etc, most extra that's are never used! Bike rack with 20kg electric bike.

Am I fooling myself or is that about right, it has been on all sorts of roads in Europe, motorways always at 55/60 mph

Now sat at Holyhead awaiting 8pm ferry to Dublin, very windy, and a little wet.
But ya can't beat a warm MH, sat tv on, bite to eat whilst waiting

Hi, I would think you are about right with 25mpg. Some get much less and some slightly better --- depends on your right foot!

How long will it last. In the summer when we all start cranking the miles,how much then.

I am still contemplating buying a load of diesel and putting it in 205litre drums COS it is going to go up again when the yanks start buying again from Saudi Arabia, but Iran is also flooding onto the market , it might go down a bit more yet but 75p of the price is TAX so cannot go down too much more or the oil companies will be giving it away.

I also have a Land Rover that does about 8 mpg, round trip from Bradford to Doncaster £50, but I love it.

Very wobbly crossing, lots of glasses getting broken, shop shut, but it's only another hour. The missus sat watching TV, but what she ain't got a clue eeeee, love it. Just got to find a parking spot for the night when we get there.
Maybe just the port car park tonight.
