My husband and I are new to Motorhoming. We had a touring caravan for the best part of 40 years, but decided to change to a Motorhome last year, partly due to the pandemic but also because we felt we needed to change our holiday habits and do more in the way of touring, rather than staying in one place. We realise that there will be challenges, mainly because of parking restrictions in some towns and other places that we like to visit. We won’t be towing another vehicle, so will need to research where we can and can’t go. We caravanned in France many times, and once it’s safe to do so and restrictions are lifted, we hope to tour over there again.

We have similar length van and see it as a challenge to take everywhere.
You may have to park away across the carpark but we hardly ever failed.
Look out for backing over grass areas. Its much easier in Europe where there is much more room.
Don't worry about it - I'm sure you will be OK
