After putting a deposit down on our first new Motorhome in July I asked you all for your advice about payload and whether the 220kgs we had was enough and the resounding answer was NO so not wanting the disappointment of not being able to carry everything we wanted I got the dealer to uprate it from 3500 to 3850 which only cost £175 and went and booked my driving lessons as unfortunately I took my test after 97, took my test this afternoon and passed first time so excited, now that I know I can drive it when we pick it up which on the down side is still another 6 months away oh well hopefully get to see it at the show next week

They charged £45 an hour the test was £115 had to go out in blocks of 4hrs so did 3 of those with the last 2hrs being the including the test

What course was this as I'm considering getting my c1 entitlement

This was the C1 course so I can drive anything up to 7500kg

She can yes so at least we only had to pay for one of us

It depends on how many lessons you need I only needed 10hrs plus the test so thankfully it didn't cost as much as I thought as I was also told around £1000 which was why I was trying to get a 3500kg only but clearly the payloads were never going to work at least now I won't have to worry of going over

however she has already passed her MIDAS minibus test so hopefully not that bad
